Watch for my photogram/composite work in June 2018 issue of Black and White magazine * Spotlight award winner!
Photograms are images made in darkroom, by projecting light (usually under enlarger so time may be precisely controlled) directly onto photosensitive paper. Various objects, or substances, are placed between light and paper so as to make shapes or bend the light to form unique images. Can be most amazing and surprising! I also use paper negatives, film negatives, and x-rays…….Combining elements to complete the image.
What is a Photogram2 Power-point presentation
“Art is about life, and the producing, doing, or act of Art is a deep expression of an individual’s response to Life, contained within a form of some sort…” from On Teaching Photography by Michael A. Smith.
